Meet Ja'Lesa
Ja'Lesa Pierce is a Virginia-licensed mental health therapist. Ja'Lesa matriculated through the Portsmouth Public School System and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Norfolk State University, and a Post-graduate Certificate in Professional Clinical Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ja'Lesa has been in the mental health field for almost 15 years and is passionate about, and an advocate for, competent and culturally appropriate Mental Health services for all, especially our underserved communities. Ja'Lesa believes we all should seek the support we need to live our very best lives and she strives to eradicate the stigma associated with seeking therapy by normalizing conversations concerning mental health.
